They are looking of partners who are interested in using this kind of innovative system for oil production.
2. String processing machine for filigree products

An inventor from Turkey has developed a string processing machine for filigree products, trimming with Programmable Logic Control Unit (PLC) technologies. The machine has the capacity to take an important place in the jewellery sector. Automation will be possible in making filigree products with this machine. The machine will increase the productivity level remarkably. The company is open to technical cooperation agreements with machine producing companies for jewellery sector.
3. Rapid Armour Shelter System

A Finnish company has developed the Rapid Armour Shelter System, which is a new, innovative ballistic protection system. This military certified lightweight fortification wall system is ideal for fast moving troops. Panels protect men or property mainly from fragments. 5. Extremely sensitive and selective gas sensors for real-time open path measurements in demanding environments

A Finnish SME has developed remarkable improvements to photo acoustic spectroscopy (PAS) technology. New improvements are already tested and initial prototype measurements verified 0.2 ppb (parts per billion) detection limit of methane gas concentration using a black body radiation source. The newest innovations open novel business opportunities for the measurement and detection industry. Partners are sought for development of further applications and to exploit the existing know-how.
6. temperature Sensing in Nanoscale

A Finnish nanotechnology company has developed temperature-sensing techniques utilising tunnel junctions. Operation is based on temperature-dependent tunnelling resistance of metal-insulator-metal tunnel junctions. temperature sensor can be made extremely small by lithographic fabrication. Detection of extremely small amounts of heat is also possible. temperature range is about -200 °C & +200 °C. Company is looking for industrial partners for further development and exploitation of technology.
7. Fibre reinforcement technology for dentistry

A Finnish company has developed a new technology based on glass fibre reinforcement solutions for aesthetic dental care. The technology is economical compared with ceramic or gold treatments. 8. Utilisation of Leather Industry Wastes in Biodiesel Production

A group of researchers at a Turkish university has developed know-how on the production of biodiesel of acceptable quality by utilising leather industry wastes. Evaluation of the product indicated that it was in accordance with the standards for use as a biodiesel fuel. The group would be interested in a license agreement and/or a manufacturing agreement that could lead to commercialisation of the process.
9. Direct Determination of Sulphite in Food Samples by a Biosensor

A research group at a Turkish university has developed a biosensor based on a plant tissue homogenate for direct determination of sulphite in food samples. Sulphite was enzymatically converted to sulphate in the presence of dissolved oxygen, which was monitored amperometrically. They are seeking industries for manufacturing agreement and license agreement.
10. Low and High Pressure Aluminium Casting Part Production for Automotive and Related Industries

13. Multi-purpose Tangible User Interface (TUISteR)

A German university developed a new Tangible User Interface (TUI). Whereas feedback is mostly provided by displays in the environment the new TUISteR is a TUI with multiple embedded displays and sensors. It is a cylindrical device where the display part can be twisted against the handle. Sensors determine its absolute orientation in space and its relative rotation against the handle. They are looking for partners (industry) for further development and commercialisation/license agreement.
14. Micro-controller technology enabling advanced closed-loop systems

A UK micro company is looking to work in commercial agreement with technical consultancy using advanced, closed-loop, micro-controller, a novel design to improve capability and safety of flow, pressure or flow and pressure systems. It is suitable for the pharmaceutical, nuclear, microbiological, decontamination, remediation and food processing markets. It incorporates a High Airflow filter that can break down bacteria, viruses and volatile organic compounds, and filter out fine particulates.
