Offres Technologiques (Janvier 2006)

Systems for removing of pollutants from indoor air

(Ref: 06 IT LAUR 0E4K - 13/02/2006)

An Italian university spin-off has developed an innovative system for removing pollutants from indoor air without design modifications of buildings. The proposed technology offer is aesthetically pleasant and it does not involve excessive economic engagement and maintenance. The company is looking for a partner specialised in air filters, air purification and treatment monitoring for a joint venture agreement in order to allow development and production of the offered technology.

Economical recycling of precious metals used in electroplating for surface

(Ref: 06 HU HUTP 0E9A - 13/02/2006)

A Hungarian SME offers a metal recovery technology applied in galvanisation technology for surface treatment purposes. The company deals with design, manufacturing and assembly of galvanisation equipment, and with the sale of galvanisation chemicals. The surplus metal appears directly in the form of a solid plate. The company looks for an industrial/service company with experience in electroplating.

Innovative e-learning technology, with or without use of Learning Management System

(Ref: 06 PL SPOP 0EC3 - 13/02/2006)

A Polish institute specialising in ict technologies offers an innovative e-learning technology, created with use of the newest solutions and conformant with the leading e-learning standards. The system can be based on LMS (Learning Management System) platform using Internet/Intranet, or operate without platform, therefore can be used also by people that don't have regular Internet access. Partners for licensing the technology or common e-learning projects are being sought.

Demand-responsive transport system

(Ref: 05 IT IRCT 0DTG - 20/12/2005)

An Italian research company has developed a new telematic platform for managing public/private transport where service demand is weak or marked by a non-uniform time distribution (examples are rural areas, city centres during night time). Advantages over conventional systems are management automation and easy customisation to different requirements. The company is looking for public, private partners or stakeholders interested in the platform and is available to offer technical assistance.

Automated analysis of cardiac magnetic resonance images

(Ref: 05 FI FILC 0DFM - 14/02/2006)

A Finnish research centre has developed a new software tool that provides quantitative analysis and automated segmentation of cardiac structures for magnetic resonance or computed tomography applications. The technology includes a novel method for correcting movement artefacts from magnetic resonance images, as well as a novel shape model and segmentation of the atria. Research centre is looking imaging companies for a license.

Software for medical and administrative management of medical structures

(Ref: 05 IT LAAP 0BPF - 23/01/2006)

An Italian SME offers software addressed to specialised medical laboratories, test laboratories, physiotherapy centres, and clinics. The software is purchasable in complementary and personal models with the possibility of interface with Web for remote management of services and data transmission. They are looking for commercial partners experienced in the sanitary field for distribution.

Probiotic butter cream with living flora for the purpose of low caloric nourishment

(Ref: 06 HU HUBU 0EBJ - 14/02/2006)

A Hungarian research institute offers a technology for manufacturing butter cream with living flora, characterised by probiotic effect. The product can also be consumed by patients suffering from gastric disease or from the inflammation of the pancreas, who must otherwise abstain from fats, oils or butter. The quantity of the living flora is: min. 106/gramm; its trans-fatty acid content: max. 1 %. Partners (dairy companies or health centres) for license/commercial agreement are awaited.

Chlorine and heavy metals removal from plastic-derived fuels (PDF)

(Ref: 04 NL NLSY 0BEY - 13/02/2006)

A small Dutch company specialises in the engineering and production of mechanical separation systems of (plastic) waste streams. They developed a cost-effective method, based on energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (ED-XRF) analysis, to determine the distribution of chlorine and heavy metals contaminants in mixed plastics. This enables to design and optimise a process for the mechanical upgrading of plastics waste material. The company is seeking commercial agreements with technical assistance.

Thermodynamic System

(Ref: 05 PL SPCT 0BYF - 14/02/2006)

A Polish inventor is developing a new technology of thermodynamic system. The key advantages of the technology are: simple construction, cheap operation, high power obtained, and versatility of applications. The inventor is looking for technical co-operation and a partner with financial resources, who wants to implement the technology in industry.

Fire-Retardant Eco-friendly Flexible Foams

(Ref: 05 GB SCTI 0DSF - 09/02/2006)

A Scottish University has developed a novel process for manufacturing flexible and rigid polyurethane foams that are both fire-retardant and environmentally-friendly. These foams have a wide range of applications in sectors such as furniture, packaging and automotive. The University is seeking foam manufacturers interested in licensing this process.

Temperature Sensing in Nanoscale

(Ref: 05 FI FITE 0BW5 - 08/02/2006)

A Finnish nanotechnology company has developed temperature-sensing techniques utilising tunnel junctions. Operation is based on temperature-dependent tunnelling resistance of metal-insulator-metal tunnel junctions. Temperature sensor can be made extremely small by lithographic fabrication. Detection of extremely small amounts of heat is also possible. Temperature range is about -200 °C & +200 °C. Company is looking for industrial partners for further development and exploitation of technology.

Secure SMS Communications

(Ref: 06 FR IAAN 0E2G - 13/02/2006)

A French SME has developed a complete system to secure SMS communications, easy to integrate in any applications. The sender (a mobile phone or a PC) uses an encryption algorithm to secure the SMS content. An application with the SMS push technology is installed on the receiver (for instance a mobile phone). After the user's authentication with a PIN code, this application is able to show the message content. The company is looking for a technical co-operation, license or commercial agreement.
